This is a special one off show for Burn This Life.  Playing two 45min sets, featuring 11 cover songs as well as material from Burn This Life's upcomming New Album " Selfish Mortals " and maybe a few songsl from the first album "Impact".

This is the only show Burn This Life are playing this year due to recording and personal committments so it's not to be missed.  There will be the usual free giveaways for the best moshers and we will also be DJ'ing the best rocks tunes before and after the show up until midnight.

Essex Uni

We've been asked to play a gig at Essex Uni in November. It's just us on the bill and we're having to pop some cover songs into the set. After much arguing we've got a mix of stuff ranging from AC/DC all the way up to new stuff such as The Automatic, and a few interesting takes on very recent songs...you'll just have to come along and see. We will post more details on the home page as soon as we have them.

Other news...Rit hates his life, Wes has gotten thin, we've forgotten what Tom looks like and G has got 'not so thin'.... Scotty, is just Scotty. Take Care, see you soon.

Nothing Happening...

OK, So nothing has been happening. We continue to mix the second album but lack of time means it's a slow process. With Tom getting a new job and spending most weeks away we've hardly had time to rehearse or write new material so we've avoided gigs but we're starting to plan a full schedule for 2009.

Requiem Video

Leon Csernohlavek is an absolute genius!!!!!!!!! Check out the video he's written, directed, filmed and produced for us on our myspace page. We've been getting such great feedback from this so far, we're blown away with how cool he's made us all look.

Battle of the Bands

Great news, Burn This Life have got through to the final of a BotB competition. Some great bands on the bill and we'd like to thank Never Another, Case 81 and especially Bad ANDY for the loan of the Bass.

We go through to the final on the 28th March with Case 81, a fun Ska/Punk type outfit, who are a great laugh. Also thanks to Jilted Promotions, it's great to come down and play.

January 2007

Back to the studio...

We have begun to record a second album, only 7 tracks so far but writing is continuing and we'll have a few samples to share by April. Now we're all using different equipment the process has been far more complicated, but surprisingly far simpler than before. We've mic'd up the full kit and then recorded the bass and guitars using multiple mics for that studio sound. Hopefully it will capture the energy of the music more this time.
