Please Welcome Tom...
Responding to an advert Tom has now joined Burn This Life. We have trained him up and even played a warm-up gig in Saxmundam. He's ready to go so watch this space for gig news.
August 2005
James Moves On...
Due to ever growing work commitments James has had to leave the band. He could no longer commit to rehearsals or gigs and we wish him all the best.
July 2005
Rocking the Standard...
Our first gig with the new kit and backline amps. It was superb. Thanks to all those people who made it out on the 7th. What a day it had been and we're glad you wanted to 'rock out'. As always the venue was great, and we got a great sound from the engineer who had to walk over 2 hours due to the transport chaos.
It was great to see Rit creating the biggest and nastiest mosh pit we've had to date.
Just the artwork to go...
We have finalised the recordings and now just await an approval for our artwork before we start the publishing of the album. We'll let you know as soon as...
April / May / June 2005
Big Drums = Big Noise...
We are finally ready to gig. After the last 5 months of ups and downs we now have a new drum kit, new guitar cabs and are looking forward to rocking the Standard in July...
We'd like to thank you all for bearing with us during this time and look forward to seeing you at upcoming gigs. Also please remember we hope to get the album released soon so check back to find out.
March 2005
Switch to backline...
After a less than fun gig where the in house PA and Engineer couldn't get more than 2 instruments audible at any time, the most notable effect was that of no sound from G. (picture the frustration as G. hold his guitar up to a microphone in the desperate hope that some string noise will be picked up!!!!) Burn This Life have decided to go full backline. This means power amps and cabs for Wes, G. and James but most critically a real, live, acoustic drum kit for Scotty. The scariest part is that after selling the Roland electric kit we now have to wait a month for Scotty's new kit to arrive...
James joins the band...
Following James' departure he found him self devastated as he enjoys and believes in what we do so much. So we are really happy to announce that he has been able to organize his personal circumstances such that he can now make regular practises. We are happy to have him back.
February 2005
James leaves the band...
Due to personal circumstances James no longer feels he can commit to our weekly schedule of practice and so as not to hold back the band in 2005 he has left us. It is a real shame, we are going to miss him but this is best for all of us. I really hope he does well in the future, and when he's got another band going we look forward to gigging with them.
Sessions nearly complete...
With most of the recording sessions complete and just some bass and guitar left to put down the task of mixing and mastering starts. I really hope we can get you some pre-release clips soon.
January 2005
Artwork chosen...
After great work by Wes drafting some covers and artwork for our expected album release we were all able to firmly agree on a direction...I'd love to tell you but you've gotta see it, it's great.
December 2004

In an effort to extend our EP to a full album we have started some more recording sessions. We hope to have a 10 - 12 track album available early in 2005.
